Weld Engineer

We currently have an opening for a Weld Engineer at our Kiel location.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Leads improvement activities in robotic and manual welding
  • Establishes welding procedures to guide production
  • Provides welding training and instruction
  • Develops new or modifies current welding methods, techniques, and procedures
  • Assists with the launch of new products that meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Goals
  • Researches and justifies capital equipment expenditures for efficient and economical manufacture of products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field is preferred.
  • One to five years experience preferred.
  • Substantial manual and/or robotic welding experience and/or training preferred in this field.
