We work hard to make our design phase a defined process with milestones and approval ‘gates’ through our unique project management system, creating functional equipment that exceeds your expectations. Through the use of multiple CAD software packages (CREO Direct, CREO Parametric, and SolidWorks) IGES and STEP file conversion capabilities, and multiple file sharing options, we can work with any client platform. Our Engineering and Marketing Teams collaborate to understand product trends and innovations in the industry, assuring you of the most competitive equipment.

Our design engineering capabilities include:

  • Over 100 years of Engineering and Design experience.
  • Over 16 years of Project Management experience.
  • Project management using our own PMI based 6-phase process (Project2) lead by dedicated project managers, integrated into our corporate SharePoint network to assure disciplined organization, planning, management and control of your program through cross-functional teams.
  • Data security and confidentiality being of the utmost importance, we have competent hard and soft file sharing capabilities and systems in place to maintain integrity.
  • Capability of exporting CAD files direct to our lasers for fabrication to minimize processing errors.
  • We maintain current ASABE (American Society of Agricultural & Biological Engineers), ANSI (American National Standards Institute), SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), ISO (International Standards Organization), and other applicable standards and specifications.
  • Project progression tracking, employing Phone, Video, Face-to-Face Conferences, Microsoft Project, Spreadsheets and emails.
  • We can create and supply Operator's Manuals for designed and produced products.
  • In-house and/or sourced capabilities in computer aided analysis including FEA (CREO Simulate and Hypermesh through Altair), Kinematics (CREO Mechanism), and Fatigue Analysis (SoMat through DastaSyst).
  • Real time product cost management throughout the design and development cycle supported by aPriori software.

Our product test and validation capabilities include:

  • Dedicated test engineer and three full-time T&D technicians.
  • Separate dedicated prototype shop and product test lab areas connected to the design engineering offices.
  • Test equipment and capabilities including:
    • National Instruments CompacDAQ expandable data acquisition system.
    • A full range of strain gages, pressure transducers, flow meters, thermocouples, accelerometers, and PLC controllers to handle almost any structural or hydraulic testing need.
    • Hydraulic power source with a 12 gpm, 3000 psi pump and a four channel electric directional valve manifold for hydraulic testing and accelerated durability testing in our lab.
    • Full function implement testing on 120 acres of various terrain at temperature extremes from -20o F to 100o F.
