Amerequip, a designer and manufacturer of custom equipment for the lawn, landscape, agricultural, construction and industrial equipment markets, has received Progress Lakeshore's 2015 Corporate Investment Award.

Dave Jochimsen (center) of New Holstein recently retired with 43 years of service at Amerequip. 

Alex Woelfel III (center) of New Holstein recently retired after 30 years of service at Amerequip.  

Amerequip, a designer and manufacturer of custom equipment for the lawn has been nominated for the 2014 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year award. 

Tom Maresh (right) of Whitelaw recently retired after 20 years of service from Amerequip. 

Wayne Nohr (center) of Greenleaf recently retired after 26 years of service at Amerequip. 

More than 125 high school students and teachers from Kiel, New Holstein, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah and Howards Grove toured Amerequip in Kiel to learn more about apprenticeships and job opportunities in manufacturing.

Amerequip opened its doors Saturday to show off its recent addition, nearly doubling its size, and creating new jobs.
