Bonnie Byng of Stockbridge recently retired after 20 years of service at Amerequip.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker took part Tuesday in a groundbreaking ceremony at Amerequip Corp. to celebrate phase two of the expansion of the company's Kiel plant.

Amerequip is on the cusp of significant growth that will include additional employees, a substantial addition to its Kiel, Wis., facility and positioning the company as a partner who can take concepts through the entire continuum of design, engineering, prototype, testing, manufacturing and shipping.

Amerequip has been granted a U.S. Patent for a quick connect system it developed for a John Deere backhoe. 

Amerequip, a manufacturer of custom equipment for the lawn, landscape, agricultural and construction markets, has donated $10,000 to Moraine Park Technical College Foundation's Manufacturing Fund.
