Laser Operator opportunity on our Weekend shift

We currently have an opening on the weekend shift for a Laser Operator at our Kiel facility.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Communicate professionally and effectively to peers, line leaders, supervisory staff, QC and management.
  • Must be able to follow all procedures and instructions for safe operation of lasers.
  • Must be able to center the laser nozzle and ensure quality parts are being produced.
  • Must be able to perform basic maintenance to lasers on a weekly schedule.
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools as needed.
  • Must be able to operate over head crane to unload steel trucks and load the river system.
  • Must be able to operate a fork lift lifting heavy loads.
  • Must have some basic computer skills to operate controls system.
  • Must be able to set-up and run all lasers after a 30-day training period
  • Responsible to ensure quality of all products produced.
  • Must be able to remember and follow all procedures.
  • Read and understand simple blue prints and diagrams.
  • Complete in-line process checks.
  • Must know how to use micrometer / caliper and measuring units
  • Must have the ability to perform all Laser Helper duties.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
