Maintenance Tech III

We currently have an opening on 1st shift for a Maintenance Tech III at our Kiel facility.

Primary responsibilities / necessary skills include:

  • Basic Blueprint Reading
  • Capable of Fork and Powered Hand Truck Operation
  • Assembly/Dissassembly and Power Tool Experience
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Basic Math Skills: arithmetic, algebra, geometry
  • Capable of Aerial Work Platform Operation
  • Capable of snow removal equipment operation
  • Required to acquire skill to move to Maintenance Technician Level II in 24 Months
  • Advanced Blueprint Reading
  • Read/understand pneumatic, hydraulic, electric schematics
  • Weld steel/stainless steel with stick electrode in all positions
  • Test/troubleshoot basic electrical circuits
  • Perform basic electrical wiring associated with machine maint.
  • Perform plumbing repairs on industrial equipment
  • Diagnose/repair basic hydraulic systems
  • Repair Dock Systems
  • Program Allen Bradley Controllers
  • Diagnose/repair advanced pnuematic/hydraulic systems
  • Successful completion of Apprenticeship Program or Commensurate Knowledge/experience
  • Required to Train and Develop Maintenance Technician I's and II's

Educational Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
