Amerequip is currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic self-starter willing to learn the role of a Quality Technician. This position will be supporting Paint & Assembly. Expectations of this position are:
- Assists Quality Personnel in maintaining the quality management system.
- Interfaces with Engineering and Operations to ensure new product release are efficient, effective and meet target dates.
- Investigates/resolves non-conforming Materials (NCM).
- Works with sales, engineering and operations to solve customer/product issues as necessary.
- Ability to operate a variety of inspection tools.
- Participates in corporate continuous improvement projects and Quality audits both internally and with Suppliers.
- Applies proper statistical methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process capability and evaluate process changes.
- Test and inspection of manufactured products.
- Evaluates production samples for conformance to specifications.
- Ability to prepare QA Reports.
- Ability to read and understand blue prints for the manufacture of parts and final assemblies.
- Good analytical and math skills are required.
- Ability to problem solve and use logic for multiple scenarios happening concurrently.
- Ability to lift/move product up to 51 lbs.
- Ensure functional and aesthetic quality of product
- Painting and pre-hanging of parts
- Painting includes general touch-up of parts on moving conveyor
- Knowledge of the touch-up paint guns and use of automatic spray equipment
- Preparation includes sanding and preparing parts (repaints) prior to being painted
- Daily set-up & mixing of paint
- General clean up and maintenance of paint room and booths
- Inspecting of painted parts
- Working with chemicals
- Working in confined spaces
- Lift up to 51 lbs.
- Must have attention to detail, positive attitude and strong interest to learn the job responsibilities.
Educational Requirements:
