We currently have openings on 1st and 2nd shift for Assembly at both our Kiel & New Holstein facilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Follow all company safety rules
- Report accidents and near misses in a timely manner
- Look out for your fellow co-workers and address any potential safety violations
- Ensure functional and aesthetic quality of product
- Ability to match sequentially numbered units with proper paperwork
- Ability to perform in-line process/QC checks and properly complete QC check sheets associated with product being built
- Assist in the preparation of MI’s
- Read and follow MI’s when assembling
- Read and understand simple blue prints or diagrams
- Ability to read measuring devices
- Meet daily production requirements as it pertains to pre-established standards for production
- Perform basic computer functions
- Employee is responsible to communicate any inventory level discrepancy’s to ensure the work cell does not run out of parts
- Prepare parts to be “returned to stock” as necessary
- Employee is responsible for following all departmental procedures
- Record production correctly on production (claim) sheets and build sheets
- Correctly fill out “red tags” for defective parts
- Correctly fill out scrap tickets for parts being scrapped
- Use computer to print out barcodes for finished products
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Employees may be asked to perform work in areas other than their assigned dept. They are to report to these areas as instructed and perform work in an acceptable manner.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift/move up to 51 lbs.
- Lifting and bending are continuous requirements in Assembly
- Pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching forward/backward/overhead, grasping and repetitive movements are frequent requirements in Assembly
Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
